I was looking forward to an extra 30 minutes in bed!

I will be there - the E30 is alive (again!) and having just taken it for a proper drive (rather than straight to/from an MOT center), I can report it's all good. Promises to be good fun once run it - even keeping the revs around 3-3.5k, it doesn't feel lacking in any way at all.

Anyway, 0715 tomorrow it is. Were you going to ASDA, or to the services? We'll have to double back to get to the M40 anyway, and it's fully automated petrol station, so you won't be able to buy food at that time... Either is good with me, but I don't want to wait around at the wrong one... There's free washer fluid at ASDA though!

Good news Joe :)

Looks like I'm only meeting you so thought I'd go to ASDA, can do brekkie drinks etc at Cherwell or at the event, or did you want to get something at Wheatley, I'll let you decide :)

I'm setting an alarm for earlier than I wake up during the week. Something isn't right!

Just had a top day at Silverstone, got into the F1 paddock, watched it all from 'the wing', so a petroheaded weekend for me.

Best to do at Cherwell, no? Then most are together...

OK - let's say meet at ASDA then @0715. I'll buy something at Cherwell too, save keeping others waiting. (They've got an M&S, so I can get my maple syrup and vanilla drinks! :D Best part of any trip on a motorway!)

You've got my number/facebook if we get lost at all...

Same, Sam - I wake up at around 0640ish usually. :(

I haven't woke up before 6.30am in yonks, but I am currently doing work on my laptop, with the zone and fbook in the background. It's so much fun building an ROI model on a Saturday afternoon after sending the day trying to clean the car ..!

Just finished! Over the last 3 days, I've Hoovered the interior, leather cleaned and all dash/plastics cleaned. Exterior snow foamed, washed, clayed, washed, machine polished, washed again. Waxed and sealed. Removed all wheels and washed inside and out. Still got Windows to clean tomorrow morning and tyres to be dressed. Hope she is still that clean when I get there!

Don't forget stand pass, blue sticker and wristband peeps. Fo those waiting for me, I'll see you at the services or event!

Thanks. I generally clean it every week or so, so it is manageable. But it could do with a bit more love, with a clay and to get rid of some swirls. But I'd rather be out driving it! So this will have to do. I've done 12k in 12 months, and I don't drive to work...

p.s. - Does anybody need the use of INPA or NCS? I take no blame for causing damage to cars through my own ineptitude .....

Well mine is cleaner than it has been for a long time. Next door is having their driveway dug up (shared drive) so hopefully it will stay clean. Sadly, I have not had the time/money to sort out the absolutely shocking and horrendous grit rash that plagues the front of the car that you witnessed last time!

Is someone taking a laptop with them with pa soft on it, that wouldn't mind sorting my temp gauge out and removing the shocking damping on it?

Leaving 5.30 ish and heading up A34 to meet everyone at Cherwell. If I get there first i will park in the section on the right where you double back a bit, unless there is a preference? See you guys there.

PS looking forward to seeing the e30 Triggerfish 😊
