Deffo makes it feel tighter I watched the mechanic try and get the old bushes out and it was a right PITA! so i'd happily pay someone else to do it for me. Thanks for the feedback though, I think ill get a set - If i get them pre-mounted like this then it will save on time/labour anyway. Where did you get them from and what sort of price? Getting them off and on its the easy bit, it's just removing the damn old bushes from the lollipops! (i know what your thinking) Probably won't even take an hour to do that way! I got the puller from machine mart that cost £16ish although you "might" get away with the smaller £10 one. Tip I found was to put a socket between the point of the puller and the wishbone as the puller point tends to slip off the wishbone and hit the rubber of the bushes. It took me many goes though, the puller would slip off from time to time just when you think you've got it. I got quite angry quite often too. At one point hitting the road with my rubber mallet and shouting the C word. I also strained my neck. Annoyingly, it felt good for a few days (did it last Satuday) and then it started making a rattling noise when going over bumpy surfaces. Anyway, popped down to Halfords to get a puller (£26) and the old bushes came off in literally 2 minutes per side. Saying that though, I reckon my 3 year old nephew could have pulled the drivers side one off with his bare hands......it was a little...."worn" (see below, this is how it came off) Getting the old bushes out of the lollipops Put the purple center bits on the arms and left the rest for tomorrow as it's bloody baltic outside! I dread to think of the mission involved to remove one once it's in. No. But my top tip is to use a screwdriver through a lollypop mounting hole into the chassis to locate it when the new bushes are on. It was nowhere near lined up when i did mine... My BM mate said he's never replaced the bolts, but then you hear about guys having sheared bolts, so for the sake of it, Ill be replacing mine when I do them.
