bennno2005
Hi guys. My M3 came with an Eonon GA5150 unit installed. I want to install a reverse camera to it but I'm missing the lead which plugs into the back with the camera video in socket. I know quite a few people have these units so was wondering if anyone on here isn't planning on putting a camera on and has a spare one which they would be willing to sell me. I know it is a long shot but the supplier, nor the previous owner of the car can supply me with the lead. Its the lead which has plug number 14 on it on the photo below! Cheers Ben
Tim-Ci
It might be worth contacting Eonon to ask them if they can sell you one. I've contacted them a few times due to software glitches and they've always answered me quickly.

Cost me £26 but I've now got the camera installed and working!
Tim-Ci
Glad you got it sorted, a bit pricey at £26 but I guess it's a bit of a hassle for them to sell the lead separately... I've got one of the cheap wireless camera on mine that replaces a reverse light, it works very well, very good at night.

Yeah dear but didn't really have much choice, postage was most of the cost anyway! I think I would have needed the lead even if I decided to go for a wireless system. Tim-Ci
Yes you do still need the reverse input lead with the wireless. The only benefit of the wireless is there's no need to run cables through the car from the rear to front, which on mine seemed to make installing a lot easier, as I don't need to runs wires through the rubber grommet from the bootlid.
