Nickandju Posted December 30, 2016 Report Share Posted December 30, 2016 I have a 2004 330d e46. Yesterday, My car wouldn't unlock with the remote so I opened it with the key in the drivers door. The alarm went off but stopped when I turned the ignition on but when I turned the ignition off and removed the key the information, instrument panel stayed lit and the break lights stayed on?? I have replaced the battery in the key but the car battery is now flat so having to wait for it to recharge. i can't understand why a problem with the key would cause the the brake lights and information panel to stay lit?
