bennyday
Hi Guys, Can anyone give me a bit of help on winter tyres please? I have 225/50R16 Hankook on at the moment, and I wanted to know whether a 205/60/R16 would fit on my 2003 320d E46 - I've seen conflicting info online. Please help! momo
The circumference of the tyre would increase with the 205 tyre you listed., So your speedo will be out a little. If you can get 205/55/16 - the circumference would be the same so no speedo issues.
bennyday
Hey Momo, Thanks for responding. The thing was I saw a set of 4x rims with the 205/60R16 on eBay that were €250 which would be ideal if they would work. Would I be going slightly faster or slower than my speedo? rasa
you would be going faster as the tyre is larger,,although speedos read under anyhow and the amount is minimal from 50-60 profile
