Riley707 Posted April 6, 2019 Report Share Posted April 6, 2019 Hi Ive just bought a 325ci 2 days ago and im not sure if the current headlight setup is legal This is NOT a picture of my car, dont have one to hand as its having work done. But ill try to explain it.....See Picture The previous owner i believe was halfway through putting xenons in. The Inside light (left bulb) is factory, and the outside light (right bulb) is Xenon. Which means i have 2 different colours projecting from either side of the car. so my question is.... will i be getting pulled over with the current state, or will i need to upgrade the factory bulbs to xenon.... or downgrade xenons to factory. Daz 330 Cs Posted April 6, 2019 Report Share Posted April 6, 2019 You’ve kind of answered your own question, xenon bulbs in a reflector headlight is a epic fail, it’s a shocking thing to do as the light is scattered all over the place. It also dazzles other road users as you’ve discovered. Either fit genuine projectors or take the xenon bulbs out. It’ll fail an MOT as they are currently.
