Markiep Posted November 29, 2019 Report Share Posted November 29, 2019 So first post and its not a good one Had the car a few weeks first E46 after lots of e30 and 36,s . 1999 328i just over 100k got it running a little rought on startup but new it was in for a good service etc anyway so not to concerned. Now however it starts to misfire when cold has no power backfires a lot even when its been warming up pre drive for ages Revs bounce sometimes not allways then they seem to calm down after a 30 seconds or so. These problems are there on warm start to just not as noticeable Ive smoke tested it for leaks changed intake boots just incase nothing , cleaned maf sensor ( unplugging it makes things worse so it seems to be working ) new plugs new filters air and fuel , new fuel pump , and now new full set of coils bosh not Chinese , tried to put launch crp123 reader on it and it wont connect to the car for diagnostics and tried a mates box but that wont either in car connector and 20 pin in the engine bay . like the car but at this point it may be going any ideas or a place reliable in leeds to take it for diagnostics and or injector clean as that's all I can think off maybe it could be Thanks Mark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
