Which offset 8.5 and 9.5 18" to be flush

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

I'm looking for new 18 inch rims for my 3 series E46 sedan (without bodywork) for this season. I have imagined 225/40/18 tires. The tires can be stretched.
What would be the ideal ET (offset) for front 8.5 and back 9.5 so that it is flush with the wheel arch ?! I have a FK coilover.

So many people say 9,5 ET35 will not fit without bodywork at the rear another one say it will fit.....
So what is really the perfect fitment for a nice flash ?

Is it better at the front ET30 or 35? and at the back 35 or 40 ?

Thank you in advance and have a nice day
