So TTints have taken their already hugely inflated price point, and added another £100 to it ? ?

Now £750...........nice! B)

Not sure what you are saying there, £650 is the price off eBay and off them directly, they say fitting is free so its still £650 regardless.

I dont see the problem, for what you are getting £650 seems a decent price to me especially if you can get it fitted as well.

I'd be pretty pissed if my software supplier suddenly upped the price as they have fixed bugs in THEIR software. It's not my fault its been designed badly.

£550 to £750 is an increase of 36% !!!! You can't justify that by the unit being fixed as it should have been in the first place.

You get a 12 month guarantee on all goods sold by a retailer anyway.

+1. Sorry but that price isn't justifiable just because the bugs are fixed.

+1billion!!

To say that they've now fixed something which should've been fixed before release so NOW we're going to up the price by £200 - that REALLY is chuffin unbelievable!

I really always try to avoid ripping into sellers on this forum as I don't want this forum to get into any trouble or anything but how can you seriously justify that price for bug fixes?? If thats the case then i'd be MORE than happy to tell anyone I know that they should avoid your company at all costs!

What i'd be doing is leaving the price as £550 (we all KNOW you're making stupid profit on them anyway) and let them sell! You'll make the same damn profit back over the year because you'd be selling 100+ instead of 20 over the year!

Sorry for the little rant but its companies like this that really peev me off! Blood sucking w*nk*rs!! :P

I have this strange feeling inside that the price won't stay at £750.

e46zone... the home of the UK e46 scene has a pretty unanimous feeling that TTints are placing a laughable price on the Dynavin. Ergo, they will struggle to sell very many! Add to this that there is a new unit for around the £350 mark which actually looks better and TTints will soon find that they need to drop below their original price to sell any units at all.

£550 with fitting is an okay price. Almost worthwhile thinking about but £750 just makes me chuckle!

someones beat me to it i was already going to say looks like the new unit thats simular to this will be the way we will all be going, infact for 750 id be starting to look at the oem system as ok it may not do as much in some ways but everyone knows that if the option was there youd go oem and just pick the bits up one at a time off ebay as they came up.

Free fitting thats only good for local people.

12 month warrenty is a legal requirement is it not within europe now? for sure it is withing the uk.

So the units when at 550 and 650 were broken as you now say the 750 one is fixed, so anyone with a cheaper priced unit has been knownly sold faulty products, well at least they can get them replaced under this grerat 12 month warrenty.

I was very in the market place for one of these and at 550 it seemed valid as a replacement for my top end Alpine for the OEM style it gave, now its far from it at 750.

Maybe you should have listened to all the customers who said when the bugs are fixed at 550 yes please as it looks like now the interest has died.

I am not having a direct go here, i am pointing out the obvious and after 15 years in sales and 5 of those as a sales manager for a very large organisation, i would have slapped one of my staff for commin up with this reply to justify a price increase like that.

Seems you missed a trick here too, well not a trick, but I would say a lot of customers :) oh and its not really completly free fitting, as I see if you have the std business unit you have to go through the ball ache of moving the heating controls yourself, and if you have the OEM Sat Nav set up, you have to buy another lead.

Shame really, but without doubt at some point someone will also gain access to these and give the price the market demands with the same service :D for that reason I AM OUT

Forgive my rant, but cant believe how the £200 has tried to be justified rather than be honest and admit to trying to take advantage of 'must be minted people as they drive a BMW'

Am i missing something here?

Selling on ebay for £650 posted! selling in shop for £750 including free fitting!

Surely that equates to a £100 charge for fitting????

i try not to make these kind of comments but this has annoyed me so much im going to make an exemption. ttints idea of a business is laughable, a. selling a faulty unit knowing full well its faulty (highly illegal under EU and UK law) b. hiking the price by ridiculous amounts (by rough calculations to a 100% profit margin) and alienating probably 70% of its target market (e46 Zone)

i can safely say ttins have annoyed me enough to never purchase any goods from them and warn people who are thinking to do so

Rant over :)

NO, thanks for YOUR comments, gave me a laugh.

Thing is (as TTints well know) the bugs havent been fixed have they!

The vast majority are still there.

You are simply taking the p**s.

"developed by TTints for your E46"...........good one, not developed by Dynavin then?

"Now has HD screen"................really?? which HD format is that then??

How much will it be when the bugs REALLY are fixed? ( not really expecting an answer here )

Ha i got a good laugh out of that too. TTints literally sound like a bunch of chimps. When i read the advert i facepalmed. Seriously, which moron wrote it?

I also love how they sold it for £550 because it had bugs, then a few of them got fixed so it went up to £650 and now they've MOSTLY been fixed and so it's £750. What happens when all the bugs are totally fixed? Is it going to be £3050 by that time?

I'd be more annoyed about this if there wasn't another unit with better spec, for half the price, on sale now.

TTints can shove their overpriced product.
