///M Sport
A little bit of negative camber can look pretty cool, but running loads kinda makes it look like your wheel hub has snapped. How long do tyres generally last running this much negative camber? That said - it's your car, if it floats your boat go for it - your previous cars all looked very good

Gary Gill
like i already said.. not to everyone's liking... I don't plan to start an argument.. people have a right to there opinions.. Just how i HATE e46's with 19's.. to me its looks ridiculous, they look too big. I personally & a few others on here like a there cars lower, and more euro looking. Each to their own..

KSG
Guys- I think everyone needs to step back and look at the bigger picture... we're all here because we own e46's What we do to them is our own choice and thats what makes it such a good place - no 2 cars are the same. Fair enough some people think wide rims and negative camber looks sh*t, just like others dont approve of spoilers. Everyone's welcome to their views (that includes saying something looks good/bad) but just dont take it too seriously, because at the end of the day, whatever you do to your own car is upto you. Very mature of you A forum where members are all a fan of this Crappy look is probably more suitable I feel i'm justified in doing so, because you've not said one constructive comment towards this thread. You've just laughed at this thread & haven't got a clue mate. And i know for fact there are others on this site, that are interested in this subject matter. So i suggest, if you haven't got anything useful say, don't say it.

If you make a modding suggestion, you should brace yourself for +ve and -ve comments. There's no need to start making personal attacks because someone doesnt like your style. Natedogg
as suggested, can we have a sub section for those of us that love the site for it's information, how to guides etc for the E46 - theres a really top people on hear that know there stuff etc, but one more dedicated to those who like stance, big drops and stretched tyres maybe. its a cool look and the bmw scene is changing - like it or not - to accomodate the pepps that own these cars and want to rool that way - just check out some of the cars in PBMW mag etc. i appreciated an M3 or a Clubsports was built, and probbaly bought, with a different use in mind. however my e46 saloon, 323 auto never even see's kickdown unless by accident (i prefer to cruise along with tunes than rag the car - and it saves fuel!! lol.) Stick to edition38 for talk on stance/camber etc. This is a forum mostly for all things OEM, but obviously lowering and changing wheels is a common thing amongst members. I'm not a mod and I'm not stopping you from posting etc, but just letting you know that you will get criticism on any mods that arent in line with OEM styling. Natedogg
you say theres not enough demand but a few years ago euro was the preserve for the VW scene - now eveybody wants in - be it a euro car, french cereal packet or a jap motor. Change in enevitable in any scene - look at the 'Barry' (as people called it) 5 series with the reiger kit that someone posted up on the site - that used to be the standard a few years ago in modified cars and now people hate it. you can either move with the time or stick to what feels 'safe'. i only asked if it was a possibility - if this site really doesn't want it then it doesn't but it seems to shame to close off to people who like bmw's just beacuse its not what you percieve as your taste IMO. KSG
you say theres not enough demand... etc etc Mate, look at my car... its euro style, I've even got the slight -ve camber at the back and stretched rubber. All I'm saying is that this is not the right forum for euro style mods. You will get negative response, due to it not being in line with OEM styling. Whereas forums like edition38 love euro-styling, and are probably against keeping things stock.

No one is "closing you off" from the site, you just cant expect everyone to like your ideas. Just the same as you may not like other peoples styling. It works both ways.
