DJ Syxx
looks really good! whats the issues re: spacers?
Brett Sutton
spacer issue are the front I have had had to slip on a 10 and a 5mm shim on the front to get the car back home from the tyre fitters as the 10mm I bought for the rear that I was temporaly using for the front, wasnt enough to clear the coilovers, they were catching the spring seat by a nats knacker. So wont be driving it until the 20mm hubcentrics a bought. The wheels are not on the bore at all on the front at the minute so not good. rears have 5mm shims on but the 10mm will go on but I reckon if I can get a 13mm for the rear it will be pukka. The rear will be dropped a litte once the wheels are mount right. the rear tyres are 235/35/19 and 225.35.19 on the front.

You can get 12mm hubcentric spacers have a look on ebay so that sorts your rears. Does the front clear with 15mm? I'm sure IIRC Baz666 had that size on his? baz666
Meeee....lol I had 5mm on the rears and a 20mm hubcentrics on the fronts. i love them in silver but because of the colour of my car i had to have them black. looks good dude.
Brett Sutton
15mm clear easily. Reckon it was only a 1mm clearance issue with the front. Silver does look good against the blue. They do need refurbing at some point

deserteagle
It amazes me how you lot get such large spacers and lower your cars so much without any problems. I only have 5mm spacers and that seems to be the limit as I don't want to foul the tyres or arches. Your cars do look fantastic but I like to drive everywhere so lowering's a no no for me. mboon
this will sound cowboy but.... when I owned my Escort Cosworth, the best suspension for road was koni shocks and ahmed bajoo springs, unfortunetly with the 8j wide fronts on the Escort they catch the spring mounts/holders. You could either take apart, angle grind part of the holder off, making sure these is still plenty left to keep the spring in, or take a hammer to it and hit until bent slightly up... sounds crazy but true. Knew loads who did this.. Not saying do it to yours, but if your confident enough might be worth a try. I will also say though, as that was a 4x4 with over 350bhp putting spacers on them was something you avoided at all costs, so the spacers for yourself might be a better option, but for them cars it was not. Up to you.

With your MV1's in your sig you can easily put a 15mm without issue.
deserteagle
I put a 15 mm spacer on and the wheel was level with the arch. The lip going under is about 20mm thick so there's no way unless it was rolled. It looked nice but I wouldn't be able to drive it as one bump and the wheel would smack in to the arch. Guess my car must be different.

OP those wheels look really nice, i was swaying between x5s or style 5s and the style 5 deeper rear dish sell it to me. if only i had the cash
