Dave Ci Posted November 7, 2008 Report Share Posted November 7, 2008 For those of you wishing to fit a Club-sport spoiler, then this is how it should be done.. Tools needed 8MM socket 19MM socket Philip's screwdriver Grease 7MM hss drill bit 1-3MM hss drill bit Drill Most important no one nagging you....oh and tie the kids up.... Remove the lip spoiler if fitted, this can be done using a plastic spreader, once a corner has started to lift, then you will be able to pull up the rest of the spoiler by hand..remember take your time... Remove any left over 3M tape which holds these on... Open boot-lid and remove the inner trim... Once the inner trim has been removed, you will see four mounting holes, for the spacer's to be fitted into... Using grease apply to under side of spacer and locate into holes x4..using a 19MM socket.... From the outside of the boot, apply masking tape...then from the underside drill through the middle of all four spacers using a pilot drill..ie 1-3MM hss drill bit... Once all four pilot holes have been drilled, work from the outside in using a 7MM hss drill bit... Offer spoiler to the boot as a test fit..before tightening spacer's and nut's.. Once in place..tighten spacer's and nuts...no need to swing on these... Refit inner trim..and toolkit.. Finally finish item....... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

john220985 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Share Posted June 2, 2011 For all of you running big base and worried about fitting a clubsport incase it rattled off it doesent 3 years ive had my one on with 1000wrms in the boot and it still fits loveley and feels firm with a lot of heavy b line. best factory spoiler for an e46 luving it.
