Can You Heel/toe An E46?

Recommended Posts

I find its very easy to do in BMW's and i've done it in my previous BM's and I do it in my current 328Ci too.

Matching the revs on down changes makes for much smoother progress even just driving about town, but when you're pushing on its far better!

+1. Try doing it in a Corsa, totally impossible because of the heights of the pedals. So f**king annoying!

It's easy in most BMWs, slightly different in the E46: the cable throttle in the E36 M3 and Z3 M Coupe made it incredibly intuitive to match perfectly, but it's just a matter of getting used to the fly-by-wire. Same with the missus' Cooper S.

I find the pedals in all BMWs are close enough to blip whilst braking with the same foot no problem, although I do have big feet
