TheDarkRealm
Whats the latest on the GPS then guys? I had my hands on a tablet based on the TCC9800, similar specs to the Andrive, running Android 2.2 though. A lot more responsive than the Andrive but it got me excited as to the capabilities of our units (CoPilot buttery smooth). Im trying to source one with 2.3 installed so I can rip it to pieces, suspect that our units can be rooted through ZergRush but dont want to play until current issues resolved as mint has already stated this will affect warranty. Our units dont seem to have full hardware acceleration enabled, and theres a lot of bloat in the ROM/Kernel that doesnt need to be there. Also tried checking the CPU governor but I couldnt work out what it was running, again appears to be down to the Kernel. Already spoken to a couple of guys who have ported CyanogenMod to the TCC8900 platform, seems to be faily generic across tablets to the point of being able to transfer ROMS between tablets, so most of the work has already been done for us. Any news on an official ROM update mint? Stooza and havoc

havoc
Agreed. Sound quality is great via iPhone. Personally I used the cable but BT is fine also. Just want a updated interface for the wince side.
s1monove
Right then! I've had a bit of a play with this now. Bluetooth is fine and i can play songs from the iphone on there with no problems Wifi is fine,i downloaded a few apps while sitting outside my house. I even set up the sky+ box to record top gear from the car. Couple of issues though, DTV doesnt work at all , no signal , only 5 channels found but not watchable. Hopefully this will work in a better area or with the antenna boost I can only switch the unit on when turning the key in the ignition , is there a way to make it power up without the key in there? I havent installed the nav yet as i've only bought an sd card today One big disappointment was the reversing camera not fitting, so i cant test this feature on there. Hopefully andrive can come up with a solution for me More updates / questions when i've played some more

My apoligies as havoc may be correct in that you may need to retune to the nearest transmitter,as here in ireland the transmitters have different numbers for saorview, may or may not be the same thing in uk.But s1monove may still may need an amplified antenna if he is in a poor signal area. E46 Convertible Imola Red Hi Siffion, no error messages. I can only find my downloaded apps when i go into "market" but obviously have to be online to get this. I havent put an sd card in yet so maybe thats why they're only online at the moment. How much memory does the unit have for downloading apps without an sd card?
