748adam
Thanks guys, took about 5hrs in total, I'd like to detail her properly but have neither the time or the gear to do it =( but I fear the slight paint swirls and odd stone chips might just get too much for my OCD to handle ;-), the wheels were on when I got her and didn't like them at first but now love them, gunna get em refurbished in the hyper/super silver colour, do you think they will look good? I haven't either Wash, but I've checked the build spec and it's got quite a few sport bits fitted, why the original owner didn't just buy a sport is beyond me. While we are on the topic of sport bits, can someone please point out the differences on the side skirts and rear bumper between the SE and the sport variants? Thanks Adam

mb15
Really like the wheels on your car, think the sport skirts are a bit deeper, and the rear bumper has a black plastic diffuser like this: http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/bmw-e46-330ci-sport-2003/106206900
Schumacher
Nice work. The Z4 rims work well with the lines of the car.
DJ Syxx
nice clean engine bay, the owner who bought this car from new should be shot for speccing cloth seats!!
marc l
You need to remember how comfortable cloth seats are! But they don't look as good Check photo section for pics of sports bumpers. Car looks tidy
748adam
to be fair, i like the cloth interior as i dont get burnt to death in 'summer' and frozen to the bone in winter as per leather seats, although saying that I'd quite like a alcantara interior. Im thinking after the wheel refurb that a set of eibach sportlines are in order ;-) Adam
748adam
Well I thought its about time I updated this, on the whole not much to report although I have just had some Eibach Sportlines fitted along with a smoothed MSport front bumper, next on the list is the skirts and rear bumber and possibly a Andrive/Dynavin/Eonon headunit to suit the new JL Audio Sub/Amp that I acquired through rebuilding a friends CRF450 Super Moto. Please excuse the state of the car as it desperately needs a good clean and wax. Anyway guys, what do you think? Adam

bungers
I like the smoothed airducts / fog light surrounds but think they would look better black personally. The paint looks a bit poo at the bottom of the mesh/top of the bottom bar, oh & where's your numberplate??
748adam
MIT- yeah you are right but I sold my baby to buy my 330, fully stripped and rebuilt it 1 winter, I'll try get some pictured up. Bungers- They are genuine haaman ducts that came with the bumper and the spray is actually dust as the guy who painted it did it cheap as I said I'd take car of the polishing/finishing up, number plate is in the boot at the minute, just trying to figure out where to put it? =)
DJ Syxx
Hamann covers are better colour coded than black. Looks good.

748adam
Thought I'd better update this as there have been a few changes with more in the pipe line, I now have the M sport rear bumper fitted, (with side skirts awaiting to be painted and fitted) The Style 108's have gone and been replaced with E46 fitment style 32's with Michelin pilot sport 3 tyres, I had them refurbished in anthracite but I think I made a mistake and will be getting them re-done in silver this year hopefully. I managed to grab a couple of bargains, first up some Umnitza LED angel eyes and got them fitted relatively easily, then I managed to get a m-sport headlining and window surrounds £50 for the lot!!! I had an Eonon headunit but sold it, now have an Andrive unit that I'm not at all familiar with and struggling to get hold of a nav program for it. Maintenance wise it has had a full inspection 2, rear trailing arm bushes (power-flex) front bottom arm bushes (power-flex), I have a new set of Meyle HD arms and drop links waiting to be fitted along with a set of BC coilovers and D2 racing rear camber arms, just waiting for payday so I can order a new bottom steering knuckle and new rear top mounts and gaskets, hopefully this will make the car feel like new again as its not right at the minute, its pulling to the left and tramlining quite badly, I also have a set of clubsport corner splitters waiting to be painted and fitted, thinking of getting them smoothed into the bumper to look OEM, can anyone recommend a good body shop in or around York as I need the m sport kit re-painting and would like the bonnet and wings re-paining as-well to rid the stone chips, then I will have the car I wanted when I set out to buy my 330ci (still need a red or tan M3 interior though)!. Anyway here are some pictures. The Laird, pirate1066 and Rebel

Try something like Copilot from the Playstore. I had it installed on mine, only cost £19 and it worked a treat. Just park up outside your house, connect the Andrive to your home Wifi and download direct onto a microSD card. It will run any droid based nav. 748adam
748adam
I'm having trouble with WiFi at the minute, can only get my phones to connect to it if I'm in the same room, any other room and it just won't connect, gets stuck on obtaining ip address, so connecting my car from outside is a no go, Gunna try tether it to my phone and try it? LiamGTR
I wouldn't recommend smoothing in the splitters. If they clio anything they'll crack the bumper. Better off having them separate and then if you do hit anything it'll only damage the splitter itself. I went threw 2 different front bumpers doing this on my Celica and also had to have the whole front bumper on my DC5 resprayed and repaired because everything was smoothed in and it got bumped into in a car park. 748adam
748adam
thanks for the advice, just been quoted £180 to colour code the splitters and repaint the m sport side skirts ive just bought so I think its going to have to wait a while, as ive got the coilovers to fit with reinforcement plates, as well as a tracking set up and bottom knuckle, add this to the bottom arms too and the bowing radiator and the fact I've just been told that my land lady wants her house back I think this is going to have to wait a couple of months =(
