"Luckily" they only got it on the M. Had a call from the police this afternoon, more cars reported in the area with the same. I think 4 of us got done. What paint is it mate out of interest? I'm sure a decent bodyshop could make good of it and avoid having to make any claims... I don't think the police will be much use unfortunately (not their fault, there's very little they can go on). My parents have just dropped it at the bodyshop and the guy reckons he can sort the paintwork for £60! Going to run up there after work and see what he's saying. I'm dubious but we'll see. He wont be touching the plastics for that price (mainly headlight lenses) but I can do that myself one afternoon with a bit of 2000 grit wet and dry. He's going to have to flat and polish the bonnet though as it's marked the lacquer. It's strange it's not done it on the rest of the car though, just the bonnet. I'm not sure if that's something to do with it being aluminium? He's already managed to get the headlights sorted and got it all off the windows. All in all, it could have been a lot worse. I'd just seen the car and was in a bit of a foul temper as you can imagine! I found this lying next to it so I can only assume they filled a condom with paint and lobbed it at the car. Unfortunately I imagine this will turn in to a pub story for the little s**ts that did it and that they'll never get caught. I can only hope in a few years time when they get their own cars they'll realise how monumentally dickish what they did was. I'd not actually noticed that but it does look like it!
