Will Lam
Hi My brother has a mate that got a Vreg Ford Puma 1.7 in silver and with the factory fitted Pumaspeed kit on. Its done 90k with just 2 months mot and no tax! Hes doesnt used it and is kept in his factory and offered it to me for wait for it......................£250!!! The car used to belong to his sister and he brought it off her 5 years ago I know it sounds too good to be true but my brother knows the guy for over 20 years... Is there anything i should look out for on these cars and has any of you owned a Puma before? Only problem i can see is the rear arches do have some rust, but overall nice and clean. Heres a picture of it Uploaded with ImageShack.us thanks Will Edited November 24, 2012 by Will Lam

Rich_D
rust is the only thing to be wary of, but for that money I'd not be too bothered unless it was a proper shed

marc l
I can't believe it left the factory with that body kit Sounds very much like a bargain that should go on auto trader with a MOT for a £1000 roughly? Stooza
mit
tbh I'd avoid this particular one as it looks like a chavved up boy racer's car with that bodykit. They run pretty well, fantastic to drive, and not a lot to go wrong on them. My sister has had one since (nearly) new on my advice and she can't find anything to replace it with that's small, economical and as nice to drive! Individual 330ci
£250 is a bargain!! You could probably get that for the wheels if they have decen tyres on!! I'd take a punt in it!!
Mengwalton
Hi mate, I used to run small engined focus, and everyone who had the 1.4/1.6 foci wanted a puma engine as its a direct fit!, you would get more than you paid for the whole car for the engine and ecu as a conversion. Just a thought Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using Tapatalk
chris
I had one years ago, and a great little car. Not fast, but handle well. The yamaha built 1.7 engines were good, but ford had a falling out with them and all engine parts stopped, thats why they then went to the 1.6 unit. Not sure how it is now, but parts were a pain to get hold of. Still think they look like a mini supra

Docz2K9
Take the splitters & side skirts off & sell them! Some Chav will give you £100 for that! Then you only paid £150 for it . . Happy days
