das_flo
The ones for the torch tour? They would be owned by lease companies and not sold until they're 3 years old I bet.
Kenkus28
as in the whole event, for ferrying athletes and all. i thought they would have at least resprayed them and sold them as used.

mit
There was no respraying to do - the decals were vinyl wrap (and all have a part number if you fancy getting them for your F30s in a few years)! My friend in Munich saw them all on the production line when they were being built
Individual 330ci
I read in the paper couple of months back saying that they would all be sold off at auction... Not heard anything since though....

bungers
Doesn't matter, they'll still be thrashed, just won't have used as much fuel as the no efficient dynamics versions?!
GAZ 2617
I had a letter thru from BMW offering me a choice of 3 models. Paying them £350 a month, covering tyres, insurance, servicing, basically similar to the BMW factory scheme. Then after 5 yrs I'd have the option of handing it back or paying £9000 final settlement to keep it. Seemed a bit steep for a 320d. That was about a month ago. Twistedman
I wouldn't touch those f**king cars, the bastard volunteers given them to ferry d**ks round didn't even know how to pop the boots or bonnets, some even had problems trying to turn them back on after we told them to turn them off for a search! They looked lovely especially the full spec ones which were few, most of them being bog standard and boring. My problem was when they would constantly stall them, bunny off and thrash the clutches leaving me choking and crying at the sight. Got some cool pics though and met SOME nice athletes, most of them pompous nobody's with an attitude problem that I took great pleasure in white gloving just to piss them off. Bit of a rant I know, but I would really not touch them ragged would be an understatement. Harps Forgot to mention the scratches and bumpers that came back hanging off lol Edited December 24, 2012 by Twistedman rickzsingh

Twistedman
Lol, so none of them had an idea how to drive them properly? Were you working on the bm's harps during the olympics? Wish I worked for BMW! Unfortunately I was drafted in to help with the security problems they were having. We were slapped around the place doing VCP's and to Xray this and that. Bit of a soft topic because it really pissed me off at the time lol, that's probably why I have no love for the games or the people who worked there. Honestly the whole place was a joke I'm suprised the place wasn't blown to peices. I could go on and on, but really don't want to bore anyone with my ranting! Harps Oh and just to add, I would say probably a good 80% didn't have a clue, but what would you expect from a games maker (someone who should get a f**king real job and not be a volunteering faggot). The rest had autos! Edited January 2, 2013 by Twistedman Potnoodle and Wingedplummer
