Two Issues With The Zone.

Recommended Posts

I will explain as best I can, but i'm not the biggest IT expert in the world.

When I first click on the website, i'm sent straight to a 'URL4short' site, I have to back up and reselect E46zone before I can get to the site - is this the same for everyone?

Also, when looking at 'view new content', down the side the field 'Only items I follow' is highlighted. I don't follow anything so it gives me no results. I can deselect this to see the new posts, but when I try and go to page 2, it happens again, when I deselect it again, it takes me back to page 1 - and so on and so on.

Very frustrating. Any ideas?

I mostly browse on safari, and i've cleared history, cache, cookies etc, still no difference. I am posting now in the office from firefox, and it's the same.

I was going to start a thread about this as I'm experiencing the URL4short error. The most annoying part is that Avast picks it up as a trojan (HTML:RedirDL-inf) so stops the web session. This is from a Google search directly to threads, I don't get the error on the homepage.

It appears as though its an issue with IPB

Hmm, that link works fine for me, what I've been using for years! I wonder if that means it might only affect certain accounts? Probably best wait for a reply from Sam :)

The first issue looks like a tapatalk issue. I've upgraded it, you lot will need to clear your cache and load the site again.

Second issue is weird, as for me it always shows content from the last week, with no other filters. Can you show me the URL the "view new content" button takes you too (don't click and copy the URL, but right click on the link and click "copy shortcut" then paste it in here.)

This issue is with the Tapatalk plugin, I've disabled it and the redirect goes away. Its still disabled if you want to try it.

I will talk to Tapatalk. I assumed the update I done a few days back had fixed it.

I think it works now, if it happens again I will let you know.
