harmzsingh
Finally got around to fitting my genuine Xenons, had an issue with them flickering but stuck an old set of HID error cancellers in which fixed it. Annoyingly one of the bulbs was already failing and was going red when turned on, eventually it died an hour later and switched off. Hoping it's just the bulb but if it's a ballast, I'll chuck a HID kit in. Quick dirty pic. I painted the inner bowls. Sent from my HTC One

Chimp Choker
Battery swapped out for a Bosch unit that my mate had laying around. Same Size but a higher cca rating from 640 to 700. All Good, especially as it cost nothing and the battery is only about 6 month old. Torque reporting good output from the alternator as well under load M3NXN and sive s
carl2017
Took Beemer for second test drive. All good. Was aware of it cutting out occasionally. Sounded like an engine sensor so was on my to do list. Paid for car and drove round the corner, cut out! Has cut out quite a few times since. Sheesh. Apart from that its a good drive. Get the codes read at the first opportunity, before guessing and spending cash on it. If I had t guess though I would say it's a cam sensor needing replacing. sive s
Took the hardtop off. Thanks to my dad in helping out. Cleaned the boot. Took the subs out. Gonna sell the box and the subs separately(jbl subs , need to find how much they are worth. Will do a thread later about that). Deciding if I should keep one of them for a ski sub mod. Cleaned the engine bay. While taking the sub out. Found that the previous owner had a xbox 360 in it. Got the cable for it( might get one and fit it. ). Rear has raised a bit. sive s
You gonna leave the hard top off now mate? How much did it raise after you took it off? Hey mate. Na, put it back on the car. My dad wanted to see if it all works and the condition of the soft top. He has never been a fan of convertible due to the soft tops. Raised by 0.5 - 1 cm. I think. Better as I am slightly catching on speed humps.

me7777
That's me had the car 2 weeks now and gave it first wash and polish today, even cleaned under the bonnet a little bit! I've found all those small blemishes on the paintwork now though, it's amazing how well silver hides them!

I think you're spot on with the cam sensor. I bought it expecting to do some work on it. Paid £900 for the car. The other faults I know of are rear discs and pads and some knocks on front suspension. Other than that the car is solid with a good low mileage engine.

SpanneR
Went to look at a lovely 330 clupsport with a friend who is looking for one. Car was mint only issues were fsr and the seat bolsters. That was until I crawled under it to check te subframe and it had a hairline crack like mine did, dealer wasn't happy and is good to get a playing kit from redish before my mate buys it.
