SamN
So I got myself another car a few weeks ago as some of you probably know, and just bought another set of wheels, so thought it'd be rude not to share a couple of pictures! Still want to drop the front down a tad but I'm happy enough for now. The wheels are Style 66's off an e39 (so need spigot rings as the e39 has a larger centre bore). Fronts: 17x8 et20 fitted with 215/45/17 Rears: 17x9 et26 fitted with 225/45/17 I had to roll the rear arches a bit, and may have to do them a tiny bit more as I get the occasional scuff but nothing major at all, in fact it's so minimal/occasional that I may not even bother! So the pictures.. See, loads of room to drop a bit more! E46_Coupe
Individual 330ci
Blimey Sam that looks the nuts!!! When you said in a post about them wheels the other day I was dubious but it works really well. Did you buy the car standard and fit coilovers or did it already have them?
SamN
Cheers buddy. Won't be needing those spacers as I couldn't get away with 15mm (although I have a couple of mates looking at e36's so may get back to you if you still have them anyway! It already had the cheap s**tty coilovers on it when I bought it! Looked like this when I got it home: Those wheels were horrible though (17x7.5 et35). It's only a cheap drift car but thought I'd make it look half decent
Individual 330ci
No offence but it looked s**te in them black rims. You have defo rescued the car already with them wheels and a good clean. Certainly is a nice drift car. No worries about the spacers. I'm not overly fussed about selling as I do browse the 330ci coupe section all too often. So may end up with another to use them on lol. SamN
Black wheels are currently fitted on the rear with these 66s up front.. Only because they're drift wheels. Considering selling these style 66s now as part of me thinks it's pointless having nice wheels on a drift car. I do love them though, and if I decide to get a Z4 I'd want to try them on that.. SamN
Just came across this thread and miss that car (and my s14a in the last picture!). Might have to get another set of style 66's for the e36 I may be viewing tomorrow, they're nice wheels! Salim
