sheehan
As the title suggests - what front bumper do I need to go straight onto my Pre-Facelift 320ci? I'm looking at one this week but need to know what to look out for to make sure it fits, despite the fact the guy is certain it will go straight on. Also do I need the crash bar to match the new bumper? Or will my existing CI one fit? Thanks in advance!
mit
Only the same bumper you have at the moment will be a direct fit. To swap to a sport one you need new carriers and maybe fog lights etc. and you shouldn't really just do the front bumper, do the whole car if you're fitting a sport kit or it will look weird. rickeh
you can get the aftermarket ones from germany on ebay, theyre about 150 delivered. those come with the mountings you need. Ebay for used ones in the uk is ridiculous, they sell for over 150 in bad condition without brackets etc sheehan

Thanks for the heads up. It's only as the bumper has come up cheap and I mean cheap lol, it comes with fogs but will have to check the carriers out. I will eventually get the full kit just like I say this has come up cheap so is worth grabbing!

Jay.
not for me Allan, the carrier on the m sport came with the bumper and it was slightly different in shape IIRC.The fog ducts etc, i just botched on from my old SE bumper, but the carrier has to be the m sport one if i remember right. How do you go about doing this? I've got a pair of sport fog ducts and it looks like the support bar is already attached to the bumper. Not taken the bumper off my SE yet, but got an MSport one waiting to go on. Thinking of fitting all the bumpers before i take it into the bodyshop for its full respray so I don't have to worry about loading them up into my Dad's car and have two of us go Edited January 9, 2015 by Nimraynn
