How do you know which sensor is causing problems? Mine has started giving me a solid beeeeeeep now when I select reverse.

turn the ignition on so you dash lights come up..but dont start the car..

put it in reverse..then go round the back of the car..an put your ear to each sensor.

you will hear it clicking..if no click..it no work..lol..then thats the duff one

Yep! For the saloon you remove the side trim pieces to get to the rear piece. Nice and easy! Took me 15mins (working slowly) to replace my 2 last faulty sensors a few years ago. :)

happy days..

theres a few on ebay at the moment..so hope to get a spare sorted soon

Coupes are differnet Depends if yours is se or sport.Se are at bottom of bumper easy to change but if its a Sport you need to remove the rear bumper to get them off and they are colour coded I have a duff one on my sport but am waiting till summer to sort it ^_^

But they're actually housed in the black rub strips? Why on earth did you have to remove the bumper?

There should be no need to remove the bumper on a saloon unless there's a wiring issue..

Ah ok.. Be careful when you ask questions and get responses..

Always give as much info on the car as possible. Removing the bumper is the coupe, sport way of doing it as they're attached directly so in all likeliness an owner of that car is the one who told you to do that..

At least you figured it out for next time.. :)
