S7UUK
My engine management light is on and a clutch replacement next month due to slipping. Is it known for the EML to come on with a slipping clutch? or other possible fault? ...I'll be getting the flywheel replaced at the same time. Anyone in south Kent with diagnostic machine let me know.
Jay.
no mate. its very unlikley the EML would be thrown with a slipping clutch. Its more than likley a sensor gone duff somewhere.

S7UUK
Theres the engine light and the EML light, only the engine light is on, as well as a possible dodgy sensor, Can this be on due to a service being required?
Jay.
nah. nothing to do with servicing. Its just some sensor gone wrong.

harmzsingh
Just get the proper stuff (INPA and DIS), the cables and software can be had on eBay for peanuts and will do a much better job than the generic code readers. I'm reasonably computer literate and have some from of common sense too lol
harmzsingh
Lol they do need a bit of learning but it's nothing TOO technical really, I'd maybe check a few videos on YouTube of people using INPA so you get a feeling of what to expect. There's quite a few people on here who know how to use it too so if you get stuck, you can always get answers here. Cheers. Can you advise on what you searched for in Ebay for this as my eml is on also and thought this may be due to clutch slipping however read this should not be the case. I would love to self diagnose as you did as works out way cheaper cheers!
