I've been a rally fan for over 40 years, but I still prefer my rallying in cars that can actually be bought by enthusiastic amateurs, without 18 or more inches of suspension droop, and on mixed surfaces. Current WRC/RRC specs aren't really that much different to Group B, are they? I know Toyota have announced their intention to enter WRC in '17, but Citroen have yet to make their choice of WRC or WTCC after next season, and it wouldn't surprise me if M-Sport bail-out (possibly at the end of next year) unless they can get Ford properly back on board.
