avalaugh
So months ago mine started the long beep business when reverse was selected. I disconnected the module in the boot to disable it until I got round to buying new sensors. Originals all had paint blistering. Brand new sensors bought, painted and fitted. Module plugged back in, all sensors clicking when in reverse but now no beep when object behind the car. Speakers working (beeps when lights left on) Borrowed my mates module that's working and still nothing ? All fuses also checked ? Anything else to look at please ! It's a '52' Clubsport. avalaugh
Ok I've finally sorted this. The speaker for the reversing isn't the same as the one used for lights left on. Mine however was working fine. I took all the paint off a new sensor. And swapped it out 1 by 1 and found I had only just 1 original faulty sensor. Painted the new sensor again now it seems fine. I think the problem was that the new after market sensors I bought come painted black. I painted straight over them with my colour paint. This made the paint too thick, so the sensor wasn't seeing an object. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
