Lucky7
Hi all, first post here (apart from introducing myself on the intro page) ok here's a problem i have come across with my E46 316i I was fitting some angel eyes ( no problem – a million have done it before me and im sure a million people will done it after as well ) Then I connected lights back in car ( I knew I should have fitted them without taking the headlights off the car – but it was pouring down with rain ) Anyway fitted angel eyes and put headlights back in car – but I didn’t connect live feed to angel eyes yet – and I thought I better check headlights are working correctly. Switched on sidelights -= all was working correctly Passagers side = sidelight not on and indicator on permanent And I haven’t got a clue what’s wrong I saw some other thread that someone thinks if sidelight isn’t working the indicator will stay on (is this right ????? ) I would be grateful for any advice or sugguestions a million thanks
TriggerFish
Yes, if the sidelight is detected as broken, the indicators will be on Solve the problem with sidelight and the indicator should go out. Not a blown bulb is it?

TriggerFish
Hmm. Odd. Possibly worth checking for 12v at the plug with a multimeter to see if there's anything there. If not, start chasing the wiring back I'd guess. Can't offer any more advise I'm afraid
Trevor
Swap bulbholder from side to side. Could be the holder that's faulty.
