mastacrx
Has anyone came across a CSL splitter for a an M Sport bumper but in carbon? Would an M3 ine fit the M Tech one ir it it a completely different shape? Cheers
momo
M3 one is completely different. Are you after the full width one or the corner splitters? For full-width: There used to be one from a company called "Arqray" but they were always import only and not seen one for years. M-Style do one that fits their M3 style bumper. So you'd have to get their M3 style bumper (for non-M models) then fit the CSL splitter to that. For corner splitters you can get just the stick-on bits: https://www.mstyle.co.uk/e46-csl-style-splitters-carbon-fibre.html mastacrx
mastacrx
I'd go with the full-width one. I thought about getting just fiber glass black and hydro dripping it in carbon but from what people say it doesn't take stonechips very well. momo
£90!! Bloody hell! lol. Yeah hydro-dipping wont last.. At the least get it wrapped and lacquered but the lacquer can deteriorate if not done correctly mastacrx

Definitely need a clear coat otherwise it'll look like pebbledash in no time, haha.
momo
CSL diffuser would need a custom exhaust making though wouldn't it?
Schumacher
Yeah, exactly. SSDD sell a different diffuser which uses the stock cutout plus an additional cutout the other side so you'd only need 2 more pipes welded on.
mastacrx
I'll paint it black. Would you paint it same as the cars colour or piano black? Car is a black sapphire.
Schumacher
I would have it blended into the bumper then paint it half black sapphire and the lower half wrapped in carbon, so it looks like a small front lip.
