Hadi Ka
I was diagnosing the airbag light on my e46 using ista, and the error said there was no communication with the airbag module, I used inpa to try and communicate with the module but it would not even detect it, i ripped out the center console and located the physical module to check if its connected and it seemed all good. the car hasen't been in any accidents (according to carfax), i have ordered the exact same module off of ebay with the same model number, and was wondering if any other coding is required other than writing the vin to the module to get it to work with my car? momo
So long as it's from the same type of car - same body type, spec etc.. (engine doesn't matter I don't think) then it should be plug and play. However if there's differences then it'll require recoding.
