The driving was amazing, the cars didn't put a foot wrong, and i couldn't have asked for a nicer bunch of people to drive across Europe with. 1500 miles. 6 tanks of petrol. 4 hours average number of hours sleep per night. hundreds of small insects innocently murdered on my bonnet. too many laughs to count. I did 2.5 tanks of fuel, 1500 miles, & yes I made it all the way back from German Racewars on 1 tank of fuel to Rugby, so chuffed, my dash was reading - - - - miles when I pulled into the Petrol Station in Rugby, ha ha I was crapping it that i may run out but determind I was gonna make it back home. The 7 cars that went on the trip never missed a beat at all, & ah man German motorways, they are sooooo much fun, I have never been driving over the 100mph so much for so long. Weather was not good, beer & food went down well & two way radios rule, so much fun. dicky & Marty have all of my photo's so I'm sure they'll be up shortly. Was a little concerned that they may try and run off with the camera but dicky quite rightly pointed out that in the state they were in it would not have taken very long for us to chase them down. dicky's will be much more impressive and he has a load of photos of all the mad cars from the show.
