So for now this will be my last post, if I end up keeping the super charger I will continue with this build thread, and if things turn towards a turbo I shall start a new thread.

Wow what a horrible storey, and totally believable.
I have purchased 2 cars from them, both 120i and 120d and both times I said what a shockingly terrible place, but both my cars at the time were around 8k and served us well.
The 120d was our 2nd visit, and I was shocked after hearing all the blurb about how it goes through a 100 point check before it goes into the forecourt etc, I opened the bonnet and pulled out a 8" screwdriver that was lying on the engine.....
Vowed never again, a year ago I bought an approved used BMW from ARDEN Maidstone, I cannot tell you all how good actual BMW Dealship service. It's worth the extra cost.

I had placed an order for the M140i a while back, gutted I had to cancel my order, lol no storey but they drive amazing, and that B58 engine is great [emoji106]
If it were me I'd defiantly buy the M2 though if I could afford it

Mines the same, new genuine BMW gasket and it's still weeping, the after market one I had fitted previously didn't last long either

Finally able to log back in again to the forum.
It's going well, all cats removed, exhaust really isn't loud at all, will get a video up at some point.
Have been busy tuning with George Gelashvili, but unfortunately hit a few setbacks.
1st issue was the timing kept retarding, traced that back to the gearbox exhaust hanger, at high RPM only there was a vibration that was causing the knock sensor to activate.
After that was sorted, 2nd issue was again at higher RPM the MAF sensor was over compensating and in turn the fueling was massively rich, that turned out to be the recirc valve was letting by and causing air to be blow back through the MAF, so fitted a FORGE recirc valve to cure that.
And finally after lots of mapping sessions we've reached the limit of my 330cc injectors.
So for now I'm still running 8psi but the clubby is pulling harder than ever.
I'm off to the Nurburgring on Thursday so upon my return I'll throw in bigger injectors and continue to chase 400bhp [emoji106]

Snetterton is good value for a good track, Bedford GT circuit is another worthwhile one.
Brands Indy is small and the GT circuit too dam expensive.

I think you mean a lower final drive ratio [emoji106]
I've just swapped mine from a 5 to a 6 as running a higher ratio final drive and wanted better cruising speeds.You need gearbox, propshaft, mounts, and all the gearstick and brackets plus clutch and flywheel, inc flywheel bolts.Just a thought in my head, is it possible to swap a 5 speed to 6 speed? What is required, and is it worth it? Missing the sixth gear as I used to drive a type-r [emoji57]Driving a 2003 320D at the moment

There's really no point, a centrifugal super charger like this makes its power at the top end anyway, so any decent turbo will perform and spool up fast enough.
