Vas
So someones was suppose to pay me £100 via paypal Its been a few hour now and still hasnt hit my account. not even saying the transaction is being processed or anything, it looks like nothing ever happened. The guys claiming he used paypal for the first time but at the same time hes got 197 positive feedbacks on eBay so clearly he had used PayPal many times before . Is there anything i can do at this point ? Edited April 10, 2012 by VasJ

Gaz
Don't send anything until you have definitely received the money. If he forwards you a 'confirmation email' that he's sent it don't believe it. Wait until it's in your account.
mintimperial
Has he sent it with a bank transfer or e cheque maybe...do they take longer to show? Edited April 10, 2012 by mintimperial
CharlE46
Don't send anything until you have definitely received the money. If he forwards you a 'confirmation email' that he's sent it don't believe it. Wait until it's in your account. I'm sure the echeques do take longer to show, bank transfer are instant and you will have received an email from Paypal saying you have funds. Until YOU get the email from Paypal don't send anything. The fact he has 197 in feedback on ebay I find it hard to believe he's never used Paypal before..
momo
Sounds dodgy to me.. I hate eBay and Paypal with a passion! I've always avoided both! I think i've only ever bought 2 items from eBay - the first one I paid by cheque. 2nd time via PayPal (but that's only because I needed an account to pay my subscription here! lol). Needless to say I have 0 feedback on eBay.. How can you have 197 feedback and completely avoid paypal all tha time? There's something that doesn't add up there.. Until the money hits your account I wouldn't budge at all.. If he's sent money and it's not come through its up to him to chase, not you!
CliffThomson
As has been said already.... Until it's in your account, no handing over of goods. Paypal can send you an email if there's cash incoming so might be an idea to set that up so you know when he's paid you.
Daz 330 Cs
My mate at work has a feedback score of almost 600 and only recently signed up to use Paypal, so dont be concerned about his score as it means nothing.
DRE330
Don't send anything until money has cleared and you're 100% it's there. Had about 3 people try to scam me on GumTree within a week (probably the same person trying it over and over via different e-mails) claiming they had sent the funds and forwarded fake proof of payment screenshorts. Didn't fall for that shiz!
