RichS
Hi peoples, I've got the full sport suspension set up (springs and shocks) from my 2004 330ci sport convertible and want to sell them. The car had one elderly lady owner before me who drove the car very sedately and this suspension was only on the car from new up until 6 weeks ago which was 60,000 miles. I've no idea how to price them up but they were absolutely fine on my car as I only changed to my H&R cup kit so I could lower the car a bit more. I'd also like a steer on postage cost as the box is bloody heavy! Any ideas on price would be great, and I'll give zoners the opportunity to buy them before I put them up on eBay. Thanks, Rich
TriggerFish
No idea on price, sorry. I wouldn't have thought they're worth a massive fortune, but I don't know for sure... For postage, I posted a 25kg Apple Mac for something amazing like £14 24hours! The insurance was more expensive at £17! RichS
Thanks guys. The box is about 40kg... As no one has really offered a price (and from checking out other online prices), I'm thinking I'll put them up on eBay with a starting price of £100 - does that sound too much or too little to you guys? TriggerFish
I'd not want to pay that much for (unknown) second hand suspension. I sold Pete/Mr. Xen my HSDs which were ~30,000 miles old for £150. Granted, there were mates rates there, but they're around £600 new. I doubt new OEM parts would have the same retail price. That's just me though. Stick them on there, it's usually free to list. If they sell, great, if not, relist cheaper :)

I'm not sure they'll even sell but it's worth a punt, I'm going to put up a post here first and see if there is any interest. Thanks for your input:)
bennno2005
eBay 99p start no reserve is how I'd do it. Can't see them being worth more than a hat-full of cold piss though - I'm just going to sling my old suspension in the bin. mjn
60k mile shocks and springs? They're pretty much end of life. Doubt you'll get anything for them. bennno2005
R11CH
I just yesterday threw my Sport suspension in the metal bin, cant see it's worth anything as its 12 years old....
RichS
Will give them a chance on eBay at 99p start and if they don't sell I'll throw them in the neighbours garden:) R11CH
