Jorge-
Musta blantently lied about the weight then? I have used them in the past though, and Parcel2go. If its under 10kg, ParcelMonkey is cheapest, over that and Parcel2go is.
Vas
Musta blantently lied about the weight then? I have used them in the past though, and Parcel2go. If its under 10kg, ParcelMonkey is cheapest, over that and Parcel2go is. For a bumper i`m putting the following measurements : Length (cm) 120 - Width (cm) 45 - Height (cm) 40 - Weight (kg) 8 For the alloys is 18inches = 45.72cm / Length (cm) 45 - Width (cm) 45 - Height (cm) 40 - Weight (kg) 8 and then just click on " Add another box" and make them four
Jorge-
8kg... they will be a bit heavier than that lol

Jorge-
Take it they were without tyres too? Just a heads up before someone else tries to send them to find they are over the weight limits
Vas
Take it they were without tyres too? Just a heads up before someone else tries to send them to find they are over the weight limits I`ve just done a quote for a set of alloys with the following measurements Length (cm) 45 - Width (cm) 45 - Height (cm) 40 - Weight (kg) 15 And its £21,58 incl VAT , still cheaper then other delivery companies
Jorge-
My old 15s, which were lightweight OZs at 4.9KG a wheel with tyres came to around 12-13kg each... I'm not arguing, I used Parcel2go to send them. 2x 25kg packages. Surprising how heavy wheels actually are, and how much they affect performance when you opt for a nice lightweight set. My OZs saved 3.5kg a corner of unsprung weight.
Rob-
Will bear that in mind, cheers
simonlpearce
I just paid £6 to send a 10kg tyre, i get to use the work FedEx account and we get massive discount. BTW the tyre was a Toyo T1R (245/45/17) just to give you an idea on the weight of tyres!
DJ Syxx
that doesn't sound right! Have you actually weighed the wheels in the boxes to find the weight?
Jorge-
a 17" tyre is 10kg, so 18, maybe 12kg? MV1s are 10kg each, thats 20kg minus the kilo of packaging most people use lol
simonlpearce
that doesn't sound right! Have you actually weighed the wheels in the boxes to find the weight? Didnt put the tyre in a box just stuck some gaffer tape round it and wrote the addy on and it was def 10kg..
Jorge-
Simon, i think he was reffering to the OP
DJ Syxx
no Si wasn't reffering to you lol! OP claim that it cost him £15 to send 4 alloys, wondering if that included the tyres.
mit
a 17" tyre is 10kg, so 18, maybe 12kg? Surely an 18" tyre should weigh less than a 17" because there's less of it (assuming the same total diameter)?
Jorge-
Could be 265/40/18....
simonlpearce
Stick this in your cheapest courier pipe and smoke it, lol, 1st 10kg = £6 then for every 1kg after it cost 26p, can also ship world wide for not much more

Yes the tyres were included . Was a set of x4 Style32 alloys with 225/35/18 Front and 255/40/18 Rear tyres
Jorge-
You are lucky they didnt check those weights! I bet they are edging 20kg a wheel!! Also that makes your measurements epically wrong, 45cm, thats under 18inches as it is, then you need to add on around 100mm of tyre each side, so 65cm minimum! Simon, is that for anyone, or just collection from you lol
Vas
lol , just done another quote for Length (cm) 70 - Width (cm) 75 - Height (cm) 55 - Weight (kg) 19 And ...... its £26.31 Incl VAT for a set of x4 alloys. Also they pick up the wheels from you and deliver to the address the next day. You gotta pay £30 with your Parcel Monkey for them to do that, Paisley charge £32 so yeah you would save yourself £2! lol
