Quick look on ebay shows going price for a <100k model with all the trimmings at ~ £2500. Has anyone got any thoughts on the SLK? Im expecting the usual hairdresser comments, but a drop top German sport scar for sub 3K. The original ones got slated in the magazines as being mediocre and they always came 3rd in the Z3 vs Boxster vs SLK group tests. My mate has one and it's awesome, but the baby ones are for girls, gays, hairdressers and transgender pre ops! As an alternative, have you thought about a lovely beetle with a flower in the dash? My cousin from Vancouver who has literally just passed his test got a brand new one of these from his parents. They're moving to the UK this summer and they will buy him a UK model as soon as they get here. But yup, a very girly looking car. The AMG is still girly looking but due to the beast under the bonnet you could just about get away with it!
