Cannockwolf Posted June 16, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 16, 2014 They have quoted me £200 plus vat per hide, probably £100 more altogether over the 3 hides from the upholsterer but worth it for the colour matching, the hides come from Germany, so with them guaranteeing the colour do you reckon they are from the OE? I know Gaz had some clear vinyl on the front of his and it looked really good, couldn't obviously see it, I'm also thinking of covering the cf roof as getting that repaired, if scratched, would be problematic, getting an price tomorrow. From the Internet I've only read good things about the company, the only negatives have been from people who haven't had it done, typical know it alls. Cannockwolf Posted June 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 17, 2014 Today's deliveries: New Centre console to complete the fresh interior look, mines looking a little old now New expansion tank and lid as I had water marks running down it and a loss of water when i went to devon in April, reading up it seems this is a weak point anyway so probably just as well to replace it. Cannockwolf Posted June 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) Well I just had my leather sample turn up from UK Hide and it's soooo much darker than all the other leather colours I had looked at and the photos I had seen online. I have changed the colour of the image in photoshop to best replicate how it looks in person, but my monitor is calibrated so it could still look different on yours..... If it's OEM cinnamon (same as the LSB vert posted earlier) then I think it will look spot on.
