George
So what do you think? I am underwhelmed and not feeling the need to change my iPhone 4 yet. As for the 5c... please! G
marc l
I'm still with the iPhone 4S and am very happy with it. It is 2 years old now so starting to slow down What new features do you think the new iPhone 5 will have over the current model? The iPhone 5 is no way a great upgrade over the 4S
Knuckle
I wrote the same thing when the 5 was released , yawn, underwhelming. I have had a 3gs, 4 and 5 now, also run an iPad 3. I love apple stuff for the hardware and firmware quality , look and feel, ease and simplicity, but Job's death is Apple's death in my opinion, Samsung are absolutely smashing it and each new Galaxy model is a far cry from the last, whereas the iPhones are all but identical. Iphone C is a "cut price iphone". £469 without sim lol. Basically an iPhone 5 made of plastic. In my opinion just a cop out to flog unused parts iPhone 5s is an iPhone 5 with a faster processor (good obviously but how often do you find yourself thinking an iPhone 5 is slow!?) and a fingerprint scanner, which yeah will no doubt be handy but hardly revolutionary. I am running iOS 7 though and this is better, just little quirky features that make day to day easier. But you don't need the latest model for this. the new software is officially realeased in about a week, but you can download it and install very easily from youtube demo's. mit
I'm probably going to buy a 5c or 5s because I probably will at some point anyway and it might as well be now. I don't care much for whatever options they touted as the next amazing thing (sic) but my iPhone 5 is scratched to hell after being dropped a few times and being involved in a nasty skating accident last week! D4lta
the 4s just feels big and bulky compared to my 5. Also the screen is a lot better and if you play games on it there's no question the 5 is a must have.
Phantom Mark
Just bought my HTC One and I love it, I upgraded from my iPhone 4 which I have had for 3 or 4 ? years, sold my I5 upgrade after being completely un-impressed with it, seriously loving the HTC One. You will still have to go a long way to prise the iPad 3 from my fingers however, still love that machine. Blair
One of each for me I've had my 4 from release day and my daughter had hers shortly after and they are both pretty much worn out now. It's a lot of money (both sim free) but if the new ones last 4 years like the current ones then I reckon that's pretty good value. Doubt I'll use the new tech inside but more speed and better camera will be nice and my daughter will love the pink one one (hence the 5C)
Sam
Not overly fussed about changing my 5. I will probably skip this generation and get the next. It also gives my (and my wifes) contract(s)s a rest from £37 a month. I'll probably get the 6, or what ever its called though. mintimperial

Mine started getting scratches even inside the case! The 4 feels so much more solid than the 5. Well built and robust. I think the 5 feels like its going to float away, or snap! I'll probably end up going for a 5c as it should be cheaper on a monthly, plus i fancy a bit of colour mit

paulfoley30
I think I'll get one, though it's third on the list of things to buy behind a new car and an XBox One. By which point the iPhone 6 will probably have come out so I'll be getting that instead.

mit
i see the 5C doing well in the new and merging markets in APAC etc Yeah, those Chinese can afford a £469 phone Err, there are probably more people in China who can afford one than there are here. There are also a lot more who can't, but that doesn't mean there's no market. China is the 2nd biggest market in the world for luxury cars too, so there are more people in China buying brand new luxury cars than there are here Chimp Choker
And617y
Watching news yesterday an they said most Chinese run Android phones , rather tha. iOS Apple Only thing that look s upgrade is the home bottom, remembers Your finger print , so if stolen or some1 else uses it won't work. It about time they make it abit bigger/screen , lots better Then they would Apple do best in the mobile phone market. Plastic is a big put off.. Down grade!!! Yep, 88% of the Chinese mobiles sold this year run Android. Given that most Android phones are cheaper than the 5C, can't see that % share changing much. Hell, the difference in the price between the 5C and 5S, i don't know why they bothered with both models. If the 5C was say half or 2/3 the cost of the 5S, then yes, but a few quid?
