The inevitable iPhone 5s/c thread

Recommended Posts

A good speed comparison of the different iPhones.

Link doesn't work on my iphone - how ironic...

Does this link work? ;)http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/irony

Meh, just messing with you as it wasn't ironic. :P

But, the video could have shown us some useful comparisons. Of performing actions on commonly used app's etc.

Well, I've finally cracked and got one LOL

Gone for a 64GB 5S, in Space Grey B)

I only wanted a 32GB one, but CPW are doing the 64GB for the same price as the 32GB at the moment, so may as well, they have them in stock too, unlike O2 who told me 5 weeks.

It works out cheaper than a 32GB one as a direct upgrade O2, plus £100 cashback through Quidco as well, so it was a no brainer.

Collecting from a local store, takes 2 days apparently, can't wait.

If I don't it still works out cheaper than upgrading to a 32GB one with O2, if I do then bonus.

I've had some success with Quidco cashback in the past, it doesn't always pay out, but quite often does and I've had just over £250 to date

Mine is arriving at work tomorrow. Got it straight from Apple but took ages to arrive as I refuse to stand on queues for a phone or get one on a contract. I have to admit to being excited although my excuse for getting it was that I had promised my 4 to my mother.

I've out this in here because didn't want to start a new thread.

My niece has dropped her iPhone in the bath, obviously doesn't work anymore.

But think I've read iPhone users mention about out of warranty exchange service (I can't remember what the cost was?)

But is this an option?

Cheers.

They do, but it doesn't cover liquid damage http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/products/iphone-english-uk.html Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Although Apple won't honour a warranty claim for water damage, they will do an out of warranty exchange which is far cheaper than buying a new phone. I'm not sure what they charge for a 5s, but it used to be around £150 for a 4s, and about £180 for a 5.

Ian.
