Great, so you're showing us a car you've exported (I know it's not exported btw)? You didn't say if you got the e36 back. As it's not tax'd or insured, why don't you SORN it like a good boy (might make a nice change hey?)?

A fed? Are you some kind of yank cop hater FFS?

I'm what's known as a law abiding citizen (they used to be commonplace but sadly our country seems to have degenerated into a state of mild anarchy), who taxes & insures the cars that they own - you're obviously not & are posting about it on the internet. May I suggest you cease from such public display of 'giveaf**kitis'?

Never said im some sort of a cop hater! You just asking too much questions

Both my E38 and my E90 are fully legit mate.Ive been stopped by the feds before ,all the needed checks were done and everything is legit so you really dont need to worry about this! As for the E36 its kept on a private property and im not driving it at the moment hence no need to tax it ot insure it. Im not that silly to risk my license driving arount uninsured

You a fed or something? Why dont you just mind u own business?

lol you post about a car on a forum and then ask people to mind their own business? If you want them to mind their own business, don't post in the first place!

But I don't care about your argument with him really. Your car looks cool

It would look cooler with a tax disc though.

Vas, the E38 isn't taxed or insured, that isn't legit if it's being used on a public road. You need to tax & insure the E36 unless it's SORN, which it's not.

I'm not 'worried' about it, I'm just glad I live nowhere near you and so don't run the risk of having an accident with an uninsured driver. Never mind, the rest of us will pick up the tab if it does happen, hey?

It's beneficial on a forum to make use of emoticons to convey sarcasm ^_^

On the blower so no smileys. A grasp of the English language normally suffices.

Is anyone opening a book on how dodgy this thread gets and whether or not Vas makes another post in it? :)

silly question, but can you really register a car in another country without any proof it's been exported? what do you need, just a foreign address that you can claim to live at for a certain amount of time and still pick up post from, such as a parents address? How do you insure it, via a company based in the country its registered in or do you have to use a uk insurance company as its based here all the time?

No you just need a random foreign number plate from a country they are never going to chase you in and some sticky number plate fixing tape from Halfords.
