Hawker Posted January 23, 2014 Report Share Posted January 23, 2014 First off I bought a bumper off him a couple of months ago and had no problem, communication was good and was delivered as expected. However on January 9th I purchased some carbon dash trims from him, he said he'd post them next day, so the 10th. It's now the 23rd and still no package. I've messaged him a few times, last Wednesday the 15th he responded saying 'he'll look into it' it's been 10 days since and still nothing. I've sent him more messages and he's blatantly ignoring them as his profile shows he's been online. He's added more ads so he's had time. Annoyingly I mistakenly sent the agreed £70 by gift on paypal. I was meant to send a goods as I even added the fees, so I actually sent him £72.60 to him by gift, damn paypal app. I didn't even realise until a couple of hours after to which I messaged him asking if he could refund the £2.60 to which he agreed when he had time he would do it. I haven't got it yet. I just want this sorting perhaps they've got lost in the post? I don't know but what I do know is that I'm down £70 and just want my money back or the goods delivered. Docz2k9 can you respond to my PM's please. I've read other reviews from members and he looks like a genuine guy and as I've said I had no problem with the first transaction with him, but not sorting this out and ignoring my messages is not cool. The couriers got them at the moment after the address they went to refused them. He 'was' going to get them returned to him and then send them to me but he's now not going to sell them to me because he's now seen this thread, instead he's going to sell them elsewhere because they're worth around £175 apparently, and refund me my money. So I guess £70 was a bargain after all. Still doesn't excuse the need for not replying to my PM's though? So I guess it's sorted now until I recieve my refund. Hawker Posted January 25, 2014 Report Share Posted January 25, 2014 Oh and when I recieved the bumper it had a deep scratch on the top of it down to the plastic, one of the corners had lacquer peel and two of the four parking sensors are bust, non of which was in the ad description, but I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt I put it down to the courier or just you not knowing about it. I googled his username just to check and found his eBay profile. It put me off. He seems a nice enough bloke to be fair but, he seems very lapse with his postage and customer service skills. When you sell something to another person they are effectively your customer and people expect a certain amount of service. Updates, prompt postage and good communication to name the obvious. He's lacking in these areas. I didn't fit the bumper till later that week so didn't realise the parking sensors were bust straight away. The two transactions were totally different communication the first time was excellent and couldn't of been more pleased, packaging and delivery was good. I don come in here often, I didn't even realise there was a feedback section to be brutally honest believe me or not that's up to you. I think my post count can back me up on that. This transaction was totally different what was I supposed to think, you weren't responding to my PM's even though you'd been online. You said it had been posted on the 9th anyone else would have been worried. How else was I supposed to get you to contact me? Telepathy? And £70 is hardly measly, I'd say it's a fair amount to lose. I've been had over for £20 before on another forum but claimed it back that time. Like I said I just didn't know what else to do, don't like to kick up a fuss ever but whatever as long as it's sorted it's all ok. Like you said it works out for both of us anyway.
