A car sat in lane 2 for no good reason, driving at less than my limited 55 mph and holding me up. As im usually sat on cruise, it's an annoyance. Really frustrating. Sonar Daddy Posted January 31, 2016 Report Share Posted January 31, 2016 TESCO appears to be poised to butt-f**k their most loyal employees of over 20 years service by cutting double time contracted hours sunday pay to time n half(and in a few years....just in time for the £9 pr hr NLW....be down to single special rate)..also night shift payments and bank hol stuff.....this only effects hourly paid shop floor staff so all managers are un-affected.....this supermarket is now f**ked....in the last 4 years its lied to the taxman,massaged profit figures,acted like the Mafioso to suppliers,past horse-meat of as edible,screwed collegues on the pension scheme yet again....they once ruled supreme....now it looks like the last days of rome...and good riddance...don't even use the petrol station anymore.... Used to get 2x but not any more Used to get 1.5 x for during the week, with 2x after midnight. Now, just 1.25x during the week. Also IT related, one of the guys here has been given the job of scheduling, handing out the support tickets and managing engineers time etc. Except he is no good at it.. and spends more time asking me what people are doing, how much time something will take etc than working. The amount of incorrectly assigned work we get is depressing Usually without any troubleshooting at all. It just gets logged, and then gets assigned straight to the 3rd line/top level support. Stuff like 'I can't connect to the L:\ drive' - what's the L drive? Get a UNC path first, and then why does that need to go all the way to the top, when it's something that can be done by large groups of the rest of the IT team via delegation of permissions? Surely you want one of your most technical people doing assignation, so that they can either close it right away with information, or at least make sure it goes to the right place?
