mRd - does anyone know him?

Recommended Posts

I sometimes ask for PayPal gift on stuff, but seeing by my feedback thread I'm quite trustworthy! But I guess it shouldn't be one rule for one & one for another.

I don't have a problem with that at all.

I don't have a problem with people not wanting to gift either as it gives them protection, but it shouldn't be at my cost.

If they are too tight to pay and extra 3% or whatever it is, I would rather not sell to them :)

No I believe my last contact was on here on the 17th and he said he'd give me the tracking number the next day (18th) and that's it never heard from him again.

I've got 2 numbers for him and nothing from either but they do ring.

I do believe he's left the country though as that's what his other for sale post said.

not really too sure what's going on to be honest....he has actually since been online and messaged me saying there has been a issue. he will sort it out or get my money back and again nothing since.

I am willing to forgive and forget especially if it's genuine etc but waiting weeks between contact is a little annoying. it's only £35 so I could have wiped my hands with it but that's against the point really. I'm now thinking should I now just go to the bank seeing as I can prove I hadn't had the item?

if someone can spend a tenner to subscribe you certainly wouldn't think they'd be ripping you off for £35. I'm a nice guy and do want to give him the benefit of the doubt at the moment but he just needs to pull his finger out. he's obviously still active otherwise he wouldn't have messaged me albeit with quite a delay!

Hate it when this sort of stuff happens. As you say, you'd like to think if they can spend the tenner to subscribe, they wouldn't be scamming people out of £35. Hope you get it sorted.

I never ask for a gift or for people to cover the PayPal costs. Whether they choose gift or not is up to them. I've done the odd bank transfer but only to those I have evidence they're trustworthy... but even then, got to be careful.

I've bought and sold several times on here, always use PayPal or collection, but a lot of transactions are based on trust, if he's an active subscriber ect you would expect him to be genuine. Spoils it for the rest imo

Just noticed this topic about me...

A month later?? That's deffo not right and I understand why you was angry,I remember I couldn't send it first week I asked my misses to do it and she did with my hermes and I know that they take sometimes about a week.. But a month is not right. Yes I was out of the country and I remember my gf said that she sent them to you, maybe she forgot and lied to me.. Honestly I don't know.

Anyway about what happened.. I'm very sorry, honestly so sorry. Glad that they did turn up and everything's sorted. Il send you a pm and il give you a refund for them. It's just not right and I'm not a thief or that type of person who would take the money and would dissapear.

Sorry.

Marty

Meanwhile MrD has another thread with a whole heap of parts up for grabs - for free. Quite the opposite of a thief in my book, fair play! :)
At the time...I was told they were sent, I could not get any reply from phone or on here. As far as I knew he had left the country with my money.

So think what you may.

A few Weeks (16th March - 19th April) later with minimal contact from him they did arrive and all along i did say I'd give the benefit of the doubt.

So it wasn't a pleasent transaction and the feedback was relevant. But whatever may have been the cause and things happen in life, this guy obviously had a issue at the time and it was sorted.

Everyone deserves a 2nd chance, I'm not interested in any refunds but thanks for the genuine offer, a apology was more then enough. If a admin could please delete this post as I feel its no longer needed now.
