Mike-
Any info on this or a DIY of how to do it? Cheers.
Mike-
Oh yeah, for a coupe.
DazRave
As in on all the time? Just take side light bulbs out and ambers come on. That's what I did and then I coded the bulb error messages to not display.
bungers
If you're going to the trouble of coding out the errors after removing the sidelights, why not just just code in the indicators as DRLs? Mike-
No sorry I meant as in an orange mask rather than DRLs.
das_flo
I haven't done a set, but I imagine the lense is removeable once the lights are split. I've seen people smoke them before. LaminX do an amber film now, I would go down that road personally.
DazRave
If you're going to the trouble of coding out the errors after removing the sidelights, why not just just code in the indicators as DRLs? Couldn't get it to work using PA Soft. None of the combinations of settings kept the Ambers on at all. Where as coding out the errors was a single click. bungers
Ah right, yeah you can't enable them with PA Soft.
Mike-
Revisiting this, I'm buying new headlights shortly because I'm getting the front end resprayed so trying to decide whether to go for clear or ambers. Does anyone have any pictures of a facelift E46 with ambers? On Imola would be especially helpful. Edit: scratch that no they won't, or might but will look stupid. No clue where to buy amber facelift repeaters from. Edited October 2, 2015 by Mike-
Mike-
Also if anyone knows if saloon/touring side repeaters fit the coupe that'd be good also.
