Ashley1995
Taken Friday off work to swap the inlet manifold, swap the thermostat, change some rad hoses, flush the coolant, tidy the engine bay and give her a clean as I'm having some proper photos done by a friend of mine. Today though I had my exhaust made and fitted. Straight pipe from the manifold all the way to a backbox. Sounds awesome. And it cost me less than I was expecting [emoji106] Sent using Tapatalk Rebel
Ashley1995
Had a day off work yesterday so swapped the inlet manifold for the one I painted, took the rocker cover off and painted that to match. Also swapped the thermostat and a couple of hoses and then flushed the coolant. Took all day and needs some more time spent tidying the hoses/wires in the bay. But it almost there. Pictures before and during but not after yet. Sent using Tapatalk

TriggerFish
Looks good. Shame you couldn't get anything from in the cherry picker though. How's the new exhaust? I'm in two minds about the black inlet manifold now though. A bit too dark? But any other colour would look odd. All irrelevant until I have a car to put it on though! Exhaust its excellent! hm i know what you mean, it s a bit much. Probably doesn't help that its not painted amazingly, my artistic and spraying skills are not good! Im hoping to add some colour though, go for some red HT leads and red water hoses
TriggerFish
I've gone for pink for the vacuum hose from the rocker cover too. All helps! Is there any popping/banging from the pipe? I love'd another car that did that. Edited September 21, 2014 by TriggerFish Ashley1995

Ashley1995
As ECP have a sale on and they needed doing soon, I've ordered these. Didnt quite need doing yet but i though why not do them while the parts are cheap. Even if they sit in the garage for a few weeks. Ashley1995
Went to ShowandGlow 2014 at Bluewater this weekend. Was good, not as big or as many cars there as I thought but was still some stunning stuff. Excuse the rubbish pics, the indoors lightning was horrible on my phone. Just a few i got. Ashley1995
So not a lot been happening at the moment, I've been working a lot of overtime so the old girls been a little neglected. only washed it once I the past 3 weeks which I know is just a sin! In my defence the weather has not helped. I have been gathering new parts for a steering rack conversion though. Got an e46 clubsport rack, spacers, new track rods, new fluid, new custom hoses, new boots and new custom steering linkage. If the hoses arrive tomorrow like they should then I have use of a ramp over the weekend so will be swapping it out then. Other than that i've just been keeping her going, topping up fluids etc. the sunroof had stopped opening upwards but was only opening fully so got that all fixed and lubed up again. Ashley1995
I'm tempted by the whole BBS RS/Sytle 5 route but this is so common at the moment and I like to try and stand out. I like the CCW LM16's too but really not sure yet Rebel

Ashley1995
Well as of 10oclock last night the car was still in the air, the linkage I had bought didn't fit properly, the splines where different even though it apparently came of an e30. But other than that it's almost in. Got bored and frustrated last night so left the car in the workshop and came home. Back down there today to finish off

Ashley1995
Today was yesterday! I suppose its all and off the ramp now? You'd think so wouldn't you? but no, not quite. Its so very close but I had issues changing the track rod ends so they are last thing to do. apart from that its on and bolted up etc. Naj
Ashley1995
Finally it's in!
