The Grand Tour

Recommended Posts

It's finally here, I've not made plans for tonight, I'm going to sit down with a beer or 2, headphones on (neighbours don't like noise...) and enjoy. We've waited a long time and seen a poor continuation of TG, so I'm looking forward to it. F1 is dying down for the year, so I'm glad there is something entertaining with petrol involved for the winter months!

Anyway, leave me alone for the next hour or so, to indulge in my motoring fetish and enjoy 3 middle aged fellas talk about cars!

i watched it at midnight last night and enjoyed it, apart from location and few new/old jokes it is basically Top Gear... which is what we all wanted, right?!?!

Episode 3 bloody brilliant so so funny.

Even the wife who seen me watching it stopped and watched it, even laughed a couple of times wtf?

They seem to really be flogging the same gags over and over which is annoying me. Like the celebs dying and that military rescue thing. Funny the first couple times but got a bit tiresome I thought and too predictable.

Love the real car bits tho. Back to proper good old top gear. The hellcat is f**king mental!

LOL...ok daz...so when trump says ALL muslims are in some way responsible for acts like 9/11...then we should just let that statement stand should we?...just explained away by saying.."oh its trump...you know what he`s like"......

Personally I took it for what I think it was, a throw away comment.

I don't think for one moment Hammond is homophobic or even believes in what he said.

I reckon it was a comment to get a rise from a particular mindset and it worked.

It didn't even register with me to be fair. I was watching an entertainment show and was entertained. I hadn't even given the comment any thought until you mentioned it.

Reminds me of the 'slope' comment from the Burma special. I wasn't aware that was even a derogatory term until it was in the press.

Just watched Pt2 - much better!

Still a lot of predictability in the scripts but not as bad as the studio based stuff..

100%. Scripts can still be very predictable in places, but I'm finding it much more bearable than the studio segments.

More of this please, Grand Tour!
