Julien57 Posted March 9, 2017 Report Share Posted March 9, 2017 Hey guys, I have just bought an Imola red e46 M Sport. At the moment its all standard and it has the normal MV2 wheels. I like them but I wanted to know if there is anything else I could put on this car which will look good besides mv1/3/4s. I'm not going to lower this car and i don't want to roll the arches so i need a set of wheels which look good on standard m sport stance. I was thinking of a set of staggered style 32's. However a lot of people told me the car might look odd with those wheels if its not lowered. What do you guys think of style 32's ? or is there any other wheels which might look better ? BE46N Posted March 10, 2017 Report Share Posted March 10, 2017 I love my 32's and I did a lot of research before getting them, which was not easy. Feel free to ask any questions. Because they are wide and the offset is 20 / 22 you need to roll the rear arches even with stretched 215/40 and you do need to lower the car to make it look good. Ideally you need to go coilovers to get low enough, I think I'm just about pulling the look off with Eibach sport line springs and standard M Sport shocks. I use the car every day and always have people in the back, it doesn't rub now even on full load and over bumps which believe me in an achievement. I've tried 225/40 and they rub quite a bit even with well rolled arches. I do get a lot of great comments and people love the OEM clean simple look.
